Focus on your breath and observe any thoughts that arise without judgment.

Here is a simple exercise that you can practice:

Day 12 of the 90-Day Mindset Makeover Challenge prompts you to practice a 5-minute mindfulness exercise. Mindfulness is a powerful tool for improving your mental well-being and reducing stress.

  1. Find a quiet and comfortable place where you won't be disturbed for 5 minutes.
  2. Sit in a comfortable position with your feet flat on the ground and your hands resting on your lap.
  3. Take a few deep breaths to help you relax and become present in the moment.
  4. Focus your attention on your breath. Notice the sensation of the air moving in and out of your body.
  5. When your mind wanders, observe any thoughts that arise without judgment. Don't try to push them away or hold onto them. Simply observe them and return your focus to your breath.
  6. Continue to focus on your breath for the remaining time.
  7. When the 5 minutes are up, take a few deep breaths and gently open your eyes.

Remember, mindfulness is a practice that requires patience and consistency. By practicing mindfulness regularly, you can develop greater awareness and self-compassion, and improve your overall well-being.
