I’ve been consistently asking people if they made their bed since July 8, 2020.
Originally I was asking the question as a way to hold myself accountable.
Accountability is always easier when you get other people involved.
Almost 3 years later and I’ve finally gotten in the habit of making my bed every single day. The greatest reward from this was not me building the habit of making my bed.
It was the stories people would tell me over the years about their personal struggles with making their bed.
I’ve received so many messages that have inspired me to keep asking this simple question. A question that has literally transformed people’s lives.
“Making your bed” isn’t a simple task for everyone. Some people don’t even want to get out of the bed in the morning.
If that’s you, I see you. I get it.
